Kirit is the founding CEO of Malabar Hill Ventures, a venture capital, and management consulting firm. Kirit was also the General Manager for Harmony Central, a division of Guitar Center, Inc., where he transformed the revenue stream, product offering, and technology platform to increase revenues dramatically. At Guitar Center, Kirit was instrumental in launching the multichannel social communications-driven store micro sites, bridging the offline-online multichannel commerce experience for customers of the $2B enterprise. Prior to Guitar Center, Kirit managed efforts at Microsoft to launch new subscription products for Hotmail and List Builder, led product marketing initiatives at Yahoo!’s Search Advertising business, helped with corporate strategy at eBay’s Rent.com division, helped launch the Fox Audience Network (7th largest ad network at launch), and planned the business case for MySpace’s Mail product. A frequent speaker at e-commerce-related conferences, Kirit has delivered the Keynote address at eTail, and Social Commerce Strategies, and spoken at Mobile Shopping, and NRF/Shop.org. Kirit holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and an Executive MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
