Brenda Irwin

Brenda Irwin joined the Providence Health Care Board in 2012. Brenda is the founder of Angel Links Capital, managing investments for private investors across a range of sectors, including health and wellness. Previously, she was a venture capitalist for 13 years as a member of BDC Venture Capital’s life sciences team. Before entering the world of finance, Brenda enjoyed a career as a middle school science teacher. Her other non-profit experience includes tenure as vice-president for the Take A Hike, Youth At Risk Foundation while it went through a decade of program growth and community expansion. She is dedicated to mentorship and finds time to explore British Columbia’s beauty when training for triathlons. Brenda has a BSc from the University of Guelph and an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
