Nicholas Cortes

Nick is a Business Partner at Justin Kan Enterprises, supporting Justin (Founder of Twitch and Partner at YC) in launching new business ventures and evaluating angel investments. Additionally, he manages the JKE social media team. Since joining Justin two years ago, Nick has led due diligence on over 35 angel investments and helped launch various startups. Previously, Nick worked as a management consultant at McKinsey in Madrid, focused primarily on helping international banks optimize their exposure to risk and recover after the 2008 economic crisis. Nick graduated from Columbia University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Philosophy.
