John O'Farrell is an Irish Canadian with 15 years experience working with internet and telecommunications providers in both retail and wholesale environments. Before setting up QuestZones (Europe) in 2008, John lived and worked in Austria where he wrote the network migration plan for Telekom Austria. While in Austria, John worked with the European Wholesalers in Dialogue conference on xDSL broadband and fibre to the curb strategies. This provided contacts with Telco operators across Europe and valuable insights into future strategies. In 2004, John joined Bell Canada as an associate director, responsible for all data networks in Western Canada, generating annual revenue of $65 million. Prior to this John spent 4 years in Ireland with Eircom to roll out Ireland's MPLS network, Business IP, taking the business from product innovation to annual on-target earnings of €12 million. John began his telecoms career in the UK in 1996 with early start-up Pavilion Internet, which later merged with the Easynet Group, Europe's 5th largest Internet Service Provider.
