Since 2022, Spencer has served as President of North America at Minesoft, a leading patent intelligence SaaS provider and a Warburg Pincus portfolio company. Spencer's career in B2B information technology and services began in 2010, with a specialized focus on the intellectual property sector since 2016. At ipan GmbH, another Warburg Pincus portfolio company, he supported the launch of their North American sales and operations until its acquisition. He then advanced to Head of Sales for North America at Ipan/Delegate Group, a Castik Capital portfolio company, where he achieved significant growth before their acquisition by CPA Global. Following this, he held the role of Vice President of Strategic Accounts at CPA Global and later became Director of Product Sales within the IP Group after CPA’s acquisition by Clarivate. Since 2019, Spencer has actively invested in companies at various stages and across an array of sectors, with a primary focus on emerging consumer packaged goods brands. His investment portfolio includes Varo Bank, Poppi, Loverboy, Better Booch, Allied Universal, Bubble, Proper Good, Goodles, Desolas Mezcal, Chubby Snacks, Lalo, Chord, Stone & Skillet and The New Bar. Additionally, since 2012, he has held ownership stakes in multiple successful hospitality venues in Manhattan. Spencer is a member of The Angel Group, a premier community for early-stage CPG brand investing. Spencer holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Gettysburg College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Florida Atlantic University.
