Dave Messina

Dr. David Messina has spent the last 25 years in computational biology and human genetics. He contributed to the Human Genome Project at Washington University in Saint Louis, co-developed the first comprehensive atlas of human transcription factor genes, and is founder and COO of Cofactor Genomics (YC S15), where he has led the development of RNA- and machine-learning-based diagnostics and their clinical application. At Pioneer Fund, Dave is General Partner of the Bio+Health Fund, leading investments in over 20 companies including Curebase and PostEra.
