Jeffrey Slothower

After graduating from Boston College and the London School of Economics in 2000 with a degree in Economics, Jeffrey spent 8 years with Goldman Sachs as a Specialist and Trader on the NYSE. He was entrusted with being long or short up to $100 million of market capital on any given day. During that time, he gained an expertise in strategies to hedge and manage tail risk. Jeffrey then decided to move from trading to advisory and spent almost 6 years with Merrill Lynch. He attained professional designations of Certified Financial Planner™, Certified Investment Management Analyst® and Chartered Financial Consultant® (Disclosure - Not renewed nor actively using any of the three marks). Jeffrey is also a candidate for Level II of the CFA®. That experience led to the founding of Battery Private which is focused on investing as principal throughout various asset classes and opportunities.
