Carolyn C. Harkins

Carolyn Harkins is the Founder and CEO of Harkins Venture Advisors. He attended Duke University. Carolyn has more than sixteen years of transaction experience, including fourteen years as a principal investor. As such, she is uniquely qualified to source, analyze and execute transactions on behalf of TL Ventures. Formerly a Principal with TL focusing on investments in early stage software and services companies, Carolyn now serves as an in-house advisor to the firm. Carolyn is a senior financial advisor of Penn Mezzanine, a mezzanine and structured equity finance firm focused on the lower middle market and is also the founder and CEO of Harkins Venture Advisors, an advisory services firm. She serves on the board of directors of Streetwise Media, a TL portfolio company. Prior to TL, she worked for SSM Partners where she was responsible for identifying and structuring investments as well as leading the due diligence process. Additionally, Carolyn worked as an investment banker at Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. where she specialized in mergers and acquisitions. She is a graduate of Duke University where she earned a degree in Economics.
