Shiva Adireddy is the CEO and Co-Founder of Advano. Through his visionary leadership, Advano has grown in a few years from an inspired idea to a company pushing the boundaries of renewable energy storage. Dr. Adireddy assisted in the recruitment and assembling Advano’s talented team of experts, whose knowledge and experience in R&D, product design, and manufacturing has helped fuel the rapid growth of the company and positioned it as a pioneer in the field of renewable energy. As chief executive officer, Dr. Adireddy continues to shape the company’s vision and guides product development from concept through manufacturing. Dr. Adireddy holds a Ph.D. in Nanomaterials Design and Fabrication from The University of New Orleans and an MBA from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business. Over the last 12 years, he has compiled an impressive track record in energy & materials entrepreneurship, manufacturing diverse classes of materials to solve problems in the fields of renewable energy and clean technology. His expertise in both the technical and business aspects of nanotechnology is testified to by his authorship of articles in 10 issued/pending US patents and over 40 peer-reviewed publications. Before founding Advano, Dr. Adireddy served as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Materials Engineering at Tulane. In addition to leading Advano, he has also spent the last five years working extensively with startups as an advisor and mentor.
