Geet Vanaik

Dr. Geet Vanaik is the Dean of International Affairs where she leads the development of international partnerships, International Student Services (ISS), International Admissions, University Pathways, and Study Abroad. With over 10 years of experience in international education, Dr. Vanaik’s passion pulls her towards innovative high-level, globally recognized platforms to meet the rapidly evolving needs of international students and scholars in both the U.S.& abroad. Dr. Vanaik also teaches in the School of Business at GU and the College Student Personnel Administration Master’s Program at SIUE. Previously, Dr. Vanaik was the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), responsible for the oversight and implementation of immigration processes and student immersion. In 2015, Dr. Vanaik was appointed to chair of the International Education Council (IEC) for Missouri and Illinois. Dr. Vanaik received her doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University in St. Louis and her Masters in Biotechnology Management from SIUE.
