Alex Witt

Alex Witt is a Founding General Partner at Verda Ventures, Verda Ventures invests in category-leading blockchain-enabled financial infrastructure companies with competitive distribution channels. He was previously CFO at the Celo Foundation, a carbon-negative, Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain ecosystem building infrastructure for the digital economy. Prior to joining the Foundation, Alex co-founded the SWFT Blockchain payments platform as CFO. He has also worked as an investment analyst and manager at Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and internet unicorn WiFi Master Key. Alex is a CFA Charterholder and an alumnus of the London School of Economics (LSE) and Tsinghua University’s School of Economics and Management.
