Violetta Chekan

Violetta is a VC Funds Manager at Banco Portugues de Fomento (previously PME Investimentos), working directly with 200M and Social Innovation Funds. She has 12+ years in startups and early-stage investing with €20m across 14 deals closed. Violetta entered this field when she was 20 years old, and since then she has been at both sides of the table: founder and investor. Previously she worked at Portugal Ventures, a VC firm in Portugal with €450m in AUM, where she managed portfolio of investments and hold Board positions at eSolidar, Moodoptic, Bullet Solutions, Bica Studios, B-Parts and Farfetch. Currently she is investing in blockchain and crypto projects and runs a YouTube show "Web2+1 with VC".
