Erik Kriessmann

Erik leads Human Capital for Index Ventures where he is largely focused on curating a community of exceptional people who love to solve hard problems and build great companies. He also partners closely with founders and executive leadership across the entire portfolio assisting and advising them on their most strategic talent initiatives. Prior to Index, Erik was the Director of Talent at Khosla Ventures, assisting entrepreneurs in attracting and retaining transformational talent. Before Khosla, Erik worked at the leading Bay Area executive search firm (SPMB) where he helped build leadership teams at some of the most successful companies in technology. Erik graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Legal Studies before joining a seed stage consumer company as employee #5.
