Jan Rydfors

Dr. Jan Rydfors is a Board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN) specializing in high risk pregnancy and fertility who received his medical degree and specialty training from Stanford University Medical Center. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Stanford University Medical Center and co-authored the popular Handbook in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility (aka 'The Red Book' medical text used by all OBGYNs in residency), now in its 10th edition and translated into twelve languages. Dr. Rydfors has delivered thousands of babies in his 25 year career and is cofounder and Chief Medical Officer of OB on the Go, a mobile health startup focused on healthy women and babies. He grew up all over the world and speaks five languages including English, French, Spanish, Swahili, and Mandarin. Dr Rydfors lives in Silicon Valley with his wife and two daughters.
