Monica Black

Monica is the founder and managing director of Function. Her career has been spent at the intersection of technology and finance, with 10+ years investing and operating in startups, venture capital, and private equity. Prior to launching Function, Monica held investing roles at industry-leading organizations, including the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and Providence Equity Partners. A Miami native, she received her Bachelor of Science from MIT and her MBA and Master of Education from Stanford University.
