Kumail Kazmi (born 2002) is a Pakistani entrepreneur and technology innovator, best known as the founder of Smadent, an educational technology platform launched in 2019. He is recognized for his work in advancing online education in Pakistan and for developing platforms aimed at improving access to quality learning resources for students and teachers. Early life and education: Kazmi was born in Kot Phulley Shah, a village in Tehsil Phalia, District Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, Pakistan. Growing up in a rural setting, he developed an early interest in technology and education. Despite limited resources, he taught himself web development and digital marketing, which later enabled him to create his own projects and businesses. Career: In 2019, at the age of 16, Kazmi founded Smadent, initially envisioned as a simple website to provide academic resources. Over time, the platform evolved into a broader educational technology initiative. Smadent offers academic materials, career guidance, and tools for students and teachers, aiming to make the internet a safer and more beneficial place for learning. Under Kazmi’s leadership, Smadent received national and international recognition. It was awarded Best Educational Website of Pakistan by AI Global Media Ltd. and honored with the Best Modern Educational Curriculum Platform of Pakistan by MEA Markets (UAE Business Awards 2020).
