Jeremy Gilman

Jeremy Gilman is the Co-Founder and CFO of PlaceHolder. before that, he was a Principal of McRock Capital, a venture capital firm focused exclusively on the Industrial Internet. He brings several years of early-stage investment and analytical experience to McRock. Prior to joining McRock, Jeremy worked at a leading energy-focused private equity firm where his responsibilities included evaluation of new investment opportunities, monitoring existing investments, broad market analysis, and private equity fundraising. Previously, Jeremy worked at a global corporate finance conglomerate where he was responsible for credit and risk analysis of potential investments in addition to maintaining new and existing client relationships. Jeremy is a Director of the Calgary CFA Society and currently serves as Director of Candidate Preparation. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Distinction from the University of Calgary with a major in Finance. Jeremy is a CFA charter holder and has completed the Canadian Securities Course as well as several advanced financial modeling courses.
