Facundo Garreton

Facundo founded InvertirOnline.com in 1999 and launched it in June of 2000. He also started the #1 Internet provider in northern Argentina in 1994 and worked at Ideal Logic (California) in the Business Development area, contributing to several Internet companies during their development. Currently, Facundo is the C.E.O. of InvertirOnLine.com, Vice President of IOL TRUST Asset Management and President of PrestarOnline.com and AhorrarOnline.com. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Argentine Electronic Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Securities Exchange Board of Rosario. Facundo studied Systems Analysis at the Universidad de Tucuman. He completed a Masters program in Business Administration at UC Berkeley, specializing in the area of finances and receiving the Certificate in Investment Management. Facundo also completed the executive Corporate Finance program at the Universidad del CEMA and specialized in Merger & Acquisition at UADE (Buenos Aires). Recently, he has specialized in Banking & Financial Services, obtaining a post graduate degree at Boston University. Facundo received the e-Commerce Award, a special recognition from the Latin American Institute of Electronic Commerce to the people who made and make Digital Economy possible in the region. Today, Facundo is a member of the Endeavor network and is part of the evaluating body of the Institute for Advanced Business Studies (IAE). He is also an invited specialist at La Red Innova (Madrid) and a participant at TechTalk, where the 50 best-known entrepreneurs in Latin America participate. He is also a guest specialist at the Entrepreneurship Seminar of the Universidad de San Andrés and belongs to the Advisory Commission of the Risk Capital Forum of the Secretary of Science and Technology. Additionally, Facundo is the Chapter Chairman of the Young Presidents Organization of Argentina (www.ypo.org.ar) and a Member of the Regional Board of YPO Internacional (www.ypo.org).
