Ms. Shimi Shah is a Managing Director at Forsa LLC. She has been actively involved in fund management and venture capital for nearly 15 years. Ms. Shah is also an Interim Chief Executive at Synergis Technologies Limited. Before this, she joined Porton Capital as a Senior Director with responsibility for European investments from Government departments and universities. Ms. Shah managed a portfolio of over 15 companies, with several Board seats. Previously, she served at Partnerships UK Plc as a Director, where she established the PUK equity business and was responsible for all of PUK’s investment activities having invested in a number of spin-outs in relation to United Kingdom Government departments and universities. Ms. Shah worked for three years at Partnerships UK. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Investment Officer and Associate Director at Hanson Capital managing its Anglo American fund based in the United Kingdom and California. Ms. Shah was also the Chief Investment Officer of the Hanson Technology Fund. Her responsibilities included the origination and execution of private equity transactions within the technology sectors in Europe and the United States. Prior to that, Ms. Shah worked at 3i plc for three years as an Investment Executive, specializing in technology investments. She has also successfully started, established, and sold an international distribution business. Ms. Shah has owned her own business that she sold to trade in 1997. She started her career at Citibank NA as part of the Structured Trade Finance team as a graduate Associate with specific focus on Africa and Asia. Ms. Shah is a current Director of Cellcrypt Ltd. She is an active Member of the Young President’s Organization. Ms. Shah has earned an M.Phil. degree in Management Studies from Queens' College, Cambridge and a B.Sc. degree in Management and Economics, with first class honors, from King's College, London.
