Roeland Boonstoppel has 20 years of hands-on international technology investment, non-executive director, operational and advisory experience of which 15 years in transatlantic venture capital and angel investing. He worked for venture capital firms Crescendo Ventures, Kennet Venture Partners and Atlas Ventures. He was, among others, responsible for the investments in Cramer Systems (acquired by Amdocs), Consul Risk Management (acquired by IBM), Orchestream (IPO LSE/NASDAQ), The industree (acquired by BarcoNet/Scientific Atlanta), SOISIC (acquired by ARM), Arteris and CoreOptics. Prior to his period with Kennet and Crescendo Roeland worked for telecommunications service provider Unisource NV where he was responsible for the investments in Mannesmann Arcor (acquired by Mannesmann) and D Plus (acquired by Mobilkom). His current activities include active board of director / advisory board roles at 24access Solutions BV, Local Billing Ltd, iBood, Ripcode Inc and Coresonic AB. Roeland has a Master's degree in Economics and Computer Science from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
