Perry is a General Partner of AI Fund and the Founder and Chairman of ContentGroov. Before that, he was the CEO and Co-Founder of BitGravity where he was responsible for the strategic direction, financial performance, and team management. Prior to BitGravity, he was involved in the creation of Xilinx, Mpath, eWorld, Sitesmith, Alibris, and more recently Cloudshield, Enkata, Persist, and WireCache. He has been an investment professional at Accel Partners, Bedrock Capital, and most recently as a General Partner at ComVentures. Earlier in his career as an entrepreneur, Perry helped start and grow Mpath, the first peer-to-peer multiplayer game service and VoIP service from inception to IPO. He was an early pioneer on the Internet at eWorld, where he helped architect the spinout and buyback of Apple's Internet and EDI Services business. Prior to Apple, Perry was part of the start-up team at Xilinx, where he helped spur the adoption of field-programmable gate arrays. He is an alumnus of Stanford University and Harvard Business School.
