Yi Luo

Yi Luo is a Senior Managing Director in the Private Equity Group and is responsible for the private equity development projects for Greater China. Prior to joining Blackstone in 2012, Mr. Luo spent eight years at Carlyle in Shanghai and Hong Kong. Mr. Luo served as a Senior Global Partner and Managing Director at Carlyle. He was a member of Carlyle's Asia Investment Committee and Chairman of Carlyle's Renminbi Fund and China entity. Mr. Luo also worked at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and the People's Bank of China. Mr. Luo obtained an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
