Sara Lannin

Sara Lannin has focused on early stage investments at Accel Partners since 2011. Prior to joining Accel, Sara earned an M.A. in Digital Media Studies from the Stanford University Communication department, which allowed her to study social media and consumer Internet trends from an academic perspective. Sara’s graduate thesis focused on the potential benefits of social media for social good. Outside of Stanford, Sara honed her interest in technology through work experience in product management, corporate communications, marketing, and social media at OpenTable, Facebook, and Yahoo! News. Originally from Edina, Minnesota, Sara now lives in San Francisco.
