Nadeem Khan is senior vice president of the Corporate Development Office at Aflac. He joined Aflac in 2004 as a project manager in the IT Project Management Office. He was promoted to second vice president, IT Business Partnership Management Office, in 2008 and then to vice president of the Center of Excellence in 2011, where he was responsible for the technology support, change management, business analytics, operations risk management, quality management, and process alignment and control teams. In 2013, he assumed the role of vice president of the Strategy and Execution Management Office (SEMO), where his responsibilities included developing strategy, execution and governance of corporate strategic initiatives along with the annual business planning. In his current role, Nadeem leads Aflac’s mergers and acquisitions team and the Global Project Management Office, providing corporate oversight of high-priority strategic initiatives deemed critical to business success. Prior to joining Aflac, Nadeem worked with other Fortune 500 companies, including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Siemens and Lucent Technologies, where he was responsible for strategic planning, project and program management, and customer-relationship and loyalty management. Nadeem earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce with specialization in accounting and economics as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Better Business Bureau of Columbus and is an alumnus of Leadership Columbus.
