Neal Rapoport

Neal Rapoport is an active Angel Investor and sometimes Advisor. In 2004 Neal founded DealTaker.com, and sold it in 2008, then re-purchased it in 2012 and re-sold it. Since then, he has invested in several companies in Dallas, Los Angeles, New York & Silicon Valley, and is a mentor/investor in the Tech Wildcatters seed accelerator program. He is active in various Angel Investor groups, and actively watches the angel.co lists for the latest & greatest investment opportunity. His preference is to invest in technology companies in Silicon Valley, NY, or Dallas, but is open to other areas if the team and idea are great and can use his help. Besides investing and mentoring, Neal manages DealTaker.com in its re-growth efforts, and likes bicycling. Neal graduated from the University of Arizona in 1991, and moved to Dallas in 1993 and Plano in 2000. Before DealTaker.com, he co-owned 2 software consulting firms and has worked for companies such as Microsoft & CompuCom.
