Ben Trumbull

Ben joined Mark to help launch Tamarind Hill in 2017 and leads the firms Ann Arbor office. Ben serves on the Board for Tamarind Hill portfolio companies TrackAbout, 86 Repairs, and Handle (Observer) Before Tamarind Hill, Ben managed the Rocket Venture Fund, a seed stage venture capital fund targeting B2B software investments. Prior to being named fund manager, Ben served as an EIR and CFO for two portfolio companies, where he aided in fundraising rounds and organizational development for both companies. Ben also provided venture assistance to Plymouth Venture Partners, where he conducted due diligence and managed investment pipeline. Additionally, Ben held management roles for a family office in Toledo, where he oversaw venture capital and private equity investments, and was a market researcher covering P&G (Oral Care & Pet Care) for the Nielsen Company. Ben holds a BA in economics from Denison and an MBA from IU’s Kelley School of Business. He lives in Ann Arbor, MI with his wife, Kate, and two children.
