Gerben Visser

Gerben Visser is the Founder of The FinTech Consortium, a FinTech incubator and Founding Partner of InQvest Partners, a dedicated FinTech VC firm. The FinTech Consortium provides Corporate Incubation, FinTech Research and Venture Acceleration and incubated Bahrain FinTech Bay, BlockCon, InsurByte, RegPac and has offices in Singapore, New York and Bahrain. He is a founding board member of Singapore FinTech Association (“SFA”), Co-Founder of IncubAsia Ventures and an advisor to a number of early stage technology companies. He has gained over 12 years of international experience in mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance at RBS, Bank of America and Citigroup in Amsterdam, New York and London. He received a Masters degree in Business (Finance & Economics) from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and dual Masters degree in Business (Finance & Economics) from Skema, a Grande Ecole Superieure de Commerce in France. Gerben is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and has been a registered Securities & Regulations, Corporate Finance Advisor with the Financial Services Authority in the UK. He obtained a FinTech certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (“MIT”).
