Before funding Agrizon in 2018, Luis was the Former CEO of one of the main agricultural companies in Ecuador, Fertisa - Favorita Fruit Company (main exporter of bananas and 2nd producer of shrimp in the world, as a country), managing Terminal Port and 60 Retail stores chain for Ag inputs for bananas, livestock, seeds, rice, corn, palm oil, shrimp. He is a leader in the fertilizers segment.
