Carl Grant

Carl Grant III is the CEO of Rainmakers Group, a strategic advisory firm focused on business development and capital formation for high-growth companies and professional services organizations. He previously served as global head of business development at Cooley LLP, where he helped drive a $1.7 billion increase in annual revenue over two decades. Earlier in his career, he was the first business development hire at PwC, leading a 33% market share expansion, and directed capital attraction efforts for Fairfax County, doubling the number of venture funds in the region. Carl is a board member of Cyrulion and the Lyme Revive Foundation and a limited partner in Yard Ventures. He holds an MBA from Indiana University and studied private equity and venture capital at Harvard Business School. A former Army Major and private pilot, he is the best-selling author of How to Live the Abundant Life.
