David Teten

David Teten is Founder+Partner of Versatile VC. He was previously a Managing Partner with HOF Capital and Partner for 6 years with ff Venture Capital, one of the best-performing seed- and early-stage venture capital firms in the U.S. He has served on the boards of Authorea (sold to Wiley), Earnest Research (Observer), Ionic Security, Signup.com, and Whisk (sold to Deem). David also has advised clients such as Goldman Sachs Special Situations Group, Icahn Enterprises, LLR Partners, Birch Hill Equity Partners, Orascom TMT Investments, and other institutional investors. He earlier was a serial fintech entrepreneur with two exits. David holds a Harvard MBA and Yale BA, both with honors.
