Sergio Zocchi

Sergio is Managing Partner of United Ventures, Italy’s largest Venture Capital fund focused on the tech sector. Serial entrepreneur in the hi-tech industry over more then 10 years, he has co-founded and managed several manufacturing and distribution companied in the consumer electronics space. Sergio has deep experience in ICT and e-commerce field with his participation to Alcosto.it, one of the first e-commerce initiatives in Italy. Since 2010 Sergio was an active member of Italian Angels for Growth, the main Italian business angels association. In 2011 he co-founded the Venture Capital fund JVcapital, which in 2013 became United Ventures, the leading tech fund in the country. www.unitedventures.it. Sergio works as an expert for the European Commission on programs supporting Entrepreneurship and Innovation across Europe, and sits on the Board of United Ventures’ portfolio companies LOVEThESIGN and Badseed. Sergio graduated in electronics engineering from Politecnico di Torino and holds an executive master degree in corporate finance and investment banking.
