Stephen Day

Stephen Patrick Day is a Baytown, Texas native and accomplished transportation and logistics professional who serves as the president of LGI Transport in Houston. Prior to this role, he was a partner with RLS International Transport and founded Logistics Group International (LGI) in 2002 as the company’s president and CEO. Some five years later, Stephen Day broadened the company’s reach with the founding of LGI Transport--a trucking company that specializes in open deck, heavy haul and overdimensional trucking. Not just involved in the transportation and logistics industry, Stephen Day also serves as a partner with Petro Wire & Steel, Inc. In his role with the Houston-based company, he has a prominent hand in helping guide one of the most recognized brands in the areas of custom steel fabrications, wire cloth & perforated metal. Some of Petro Wire & Steel’s clients include major petrochemical, architectural, construction, agricultural, mining and marine industries companies.
