Ed Cooke

Ed Cooke is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Memrise Ltd. since 2010. Ed is one of the world's leading practitioners and teachers of memory techniques. Ed is a Grandmaster of Memory (meaning he can learn 1000 digit number in an hour),has competed in numerous World Memory Championships and has written widely on matters related to memory and learning for publications such as the Times, the Guardian and Wired magazine. After studying philosophy and psychology at Oxford, Paris, Sydney and Antwerp, Ed embarked on a career devising and teaching new ways of learning, and is known for coaching Joshua Foer to win the US memory championships in just a single year.
