Broussard NFL assistant coach Born in New Orleans, Louisiana Kirk Broussard join the NFL in 2010, Broussard served as the director of player personnel for the Columbus Lions during their championship season in the Southern Indoor Football League. He made his way to the NFL as a coaching intern for the Minnesota Vikings. Soon after, Broussard returned to indoor football as the Associate General Manager of the West Texas Roughnecks. In 2012, Broussard served as the wide receivers coach at Bluefield College in Virginia. Later that year, he returned to the NFL to coach the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills in 2013 and 2015. Coach Broussard was tabbed as a “young player personnel Guru” by The Northeast 360 Mississippi Daily News in 2007 by writer John Pitts. Coach Bru, as he is affectionately known, brings a wealth of knowledge to the game.
