Frederic Bruneteau

Frederic Bruneteau is the founder and Managing Director of PTOLEMUS Consulting Group, an international strategic advisory firm focused on location-based services (LBS), navigation and telematics. Frederic assists all leading players in the field in designing effective strategies and value propositions around location. He has gained 15 years of strategic and operational experience in 10 countries, mostly in the mobility ecosystem. He is expert at designing strategies in LBS and is a frequent speaker at mobility and LBS conferences. Previously, he was Product Line Manager in charge of Content & Services with TOMTOM INTERNATIONAL in Amsterdam. He defined the company’s worldwide strategy and product development for maps, traffic, points of interests, local search, speed cameras, etc. He also defined its geographic expansion strategy towards new markets. Frederic has been instrumental in designing and launching revolutionary services such as the world's first complete connected navigation suite (LIVE Services) in 5 countries. Before TOMTOM, Frederic worked with VODAFONE / SFR in Paris for 7 years. He assumed several management responsibilities including Director of WiFi / WiMax Marketing & Sales and Head of Multimedia Strategy & Programme Management. Mr. Bruneteau has also worked as a Senior Consultant specialized in mobile telecommunications with ARTHUR D. LITTLE in London and as a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst with BNP PARIBAS in New York. Mr. Bruneteau is a graduate of HEC Paris and the University of Cologne (CEMS).
