Niall Murphy is a CEO and co-founder of EVRYTHNG, the IoT Smart Products Platform connecting products to the Web and managing real-time data to drive applications and experiences. He is also known as a technologist and serial entrepreneur. Niall co-founder pan European WiFi network The Cloud with George Polk, ultimately acquired by BSkyB in 2010. He founded one of the first ISPs in South Africa in a joint venture with Sprint, and three digital media businesses in South Africa. Niall co-founded Amsterdam-based scenario thinking consultancy The Digital Thinking Network in 1994 with Daniel Erasmus. He is a member of UK telecoms regulator Ofcom's advisory board, and was a co-author of the Wi-Fi International Roaming Access Protocols Framework in 2005. Murphy completed his secondary education at Redhill High School and obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Witwatersrand. Murphy currently lives in New York, USA.
